It seems that Bahrain apply the "weak team strategy" - fielding stronger players in lower board. The idea of this strategy is to "steal"a point or two from the targeted board. This to avoid being beaten heavily (4-0 for e.g) . Malaysian's round 6 and 8 opponents - San Marino and Sri Lanka also used this strategy.
With both their FMs on the lower board , Malaysia should steal at least half points from board 3 or 4 because i think Mas and Mok will have no problem collecting full points on top board.
My score prediction : Malaysia win 2.5-1.5.

Malaysia (74 seed) will faced Egypt (73 seed) in the final round. This would be another close encounter for Malaysia. From the team composition above, you can see that the Egyptian also applied the "weak team strategy" . Malaysia chance lay on board 1 and 4 while the Egyptian is superior on board 2 and board 3 where they have WGM and WIM playing respectively.
Both team will of course playing their best to win and to improve their final ranking. This will be a tough challange.
My score prediction: 2-2 draw
