Kirsan Ilyumzhinov (photo above) win the 2010 FIDE election and will serve for another term ( 2010-2014). According to chessvibes.com, after winning the election, Kirsan immediately offer Karpov to be the Vice President which Karpov hasn't respond yet. Click here to read the full news.
