Last year, Yee Weng beat Nicholas (photo below) in round 4. Tommorow, both will meet each other and it must be an interesting game to watch. Will Nicholas try to get revenge from last year result ? Hopefully they will not play for a short draw :)

Selangor Open 2009
Selangor Open 2009 held at Dato Arthur Tan Chess Centre (DATCC), Wilayah kompleks, Kuala Lumpur has reach it's 2nd day and 4 rounds have been played so far. The leader after round 4 is the defending champion- FM Lim Yee Weng and FM Nicholas Chan. Both with 4 points. Following closely with 3 1/2 points is 4 players - Tan Khai Boon, Kamaluddin Yusof, Ian Udani and Ismail Ahmad. Top seed - IM Mashafizul is in 9th place with 3 points after conceiding 2 draws against Sumant Subramaniam and Fariz Shafruddin. However there's 5 games more to play and anything can happen.
