Mas won Round 8. Round 9 opponent Georgian- GM Konstantine Shanava (2521) !





Malaysian IM Mashafizul Helmi (photo right) beat Iranian Ahmadinia Ebrahim (2227) in round 8 of the 16th Fajr International Chess Open Tournament in Orumiyeh , Iran held today. He will face a true challange on round 9 after being paired against 23 years old Georgian GM Konstantine Shanava (2521)- (photo left).
