Mas at 16th Fajr International Chess Open (after 7 round)

So far Malaysian IM Mashafizul Helmi (right) have not performed well at the 16th Fajr International Chess Open Tournament in Orumiyeh . After 7 round, he "only" managed to achieve 5 points.

So far Malaysian IM Mashafizul Helmi (right) have not performed well at the 16th Fajr International Chess Open Tournament in Orumiyeh . After 7 round, he "only" managed to achieve 5 points. Although 5 points in international tournaments maybe acceptable for some, but unfortunately his win was against low rated player. Mas (2382) even lost to Iranian player Omid Noorozi (2222) in the 6th round. His another lost against Armenian IM Avetik Grigoryan(2509) was acceptable. However, i do hope Mas will beat some GM and IM or at least gain some rating points here. Wish him all the best for the remaining 4 rounds.
