Last Monday, i was in Kelantan to attend my best friend wedding. Ok, before i start to mislead some of you, let me safely say that it was not Azizul's wedding :)...

Azizul - an English teacher in a secondary school is no more a GM (Gua Musang) chess player. He has transfered to Tumpat and stay in Kota Bharu. Azizul who is also a chess blogger has invited me to visit his house but unfortunately i couldn't make it due to my tight schedule ( shopping with my wife at the famous - Pasar Siti Khadijah!). We did however meet at the airport while waiting for my flight to KL. We chat about Mashafizul's mysterious (not anymore) lost in the final round of the Olympiad Khanty Mansiysk, Persatuan Catur Negeri Kelantan, old memories and as what happen when two chess players meet - they play chess! Below is the game.

Azizul gave me the actual moves order. The moves has been corrected as below:-

Immediately after playing this move i realized that i had made a mistake 9...h6? 9...Nxe4! and black will win a pawn for e.g 10. Bxe7 Nxc3 11. Bxd8 Nxd1 12. Bxc7 Nxb2. Azizul who is a good tactical player missed it but i think maybe he didn't want to spoil the mood of a visitor as early as move 9! ( Azizul explained later that he actually saw 9...Nxe4! but didn't calculate to the end) 10. Be3 Qd7 11. Bc4 a6 12. Qb3 b5 13. Bd3
