Five Malaysian is playing in the 2010 Commonwealth Chess Championship which held from 9th-19th May 2010 at Delhi, India. Malaysian contingent is lead by ex-World Police Champion - Ismail Ahmad, Sivanesan Subramaniam, Nithyalakshmi Sivanesan, Jagathees Guna Balan and Nurislamurni Yahaya.
Ismail inform me that he act as the coach and caretaker to M. Yahya daughter - Nurislamurni Yahya . Nurislamurni is the current National Under 8 (girl) Champion.
