Uptown Chess Tournament which was held on the 20th February 2010 at Seksyen 24, Shah Alam Selangor is in the news. KOSMO! published the news in its online version. Ian Udani win the tournament followed by Kamaluddin Yusof (2nd) and Abdullah Che Hassan. The reporter did a short interview with Abdullah but i think there`s some inaccuracies in the report for e.g it said that Abdullah Che Hassan is from Terengganu ( Johor actually) and same goes to Kamaluddin Yusof from Shah Alam. - Kamaluddin live in KL and he was born in Johor if i`m not mistaken.
However it`s still a great feeling to have chess tournament publish in newspaper and a good publicity for the games.
