After leading the 1st half of the 2nd Nanjing Pearl Tournament with 4.5 points out of 5, the tournament leader - Magnus Carlsen seems to slow down a little bit with two draw in round 6 and 7 against Peter Leko and Veselin Topalov respectively. Interestingly in the Live Chess Rating , i calculated that Carlsen who is second in the list behind Topalov will add another 0.6 points to reach 2792 - two points short to reach the elusive 2800 rating points . I think it will be a matter of time for this boy to reach the "2800" club which belongs to legendary past and present players such as Kasparov, Anand , Kramnik and Topalov.
