You might wonder why FIDE rating list was release on 1st September which is actually two months early then usual. It's because FIDE have made an improvement where the rating list will now be release every two months instead of four as what have been practised before. Probably this must have to do with FIDE Rating "rival" list - LIVE Top List - Provisional Chess Rankings which is being update daily by Hans Arild Rundle. However the Live Top List is unofficial chess rating list to cover all players with ratings above 2700 in the FIDE list only.
