The pairing for round 1 Kuala Lumpur Open Championship has been released. Malaysian ex- World Police Champion - Ismail Ahmad (FIDE 2089) faced an uphill task after being paired against the top seed - GM Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son (FIDE 2589) from Vietnam.
