8 August 2009 - As you all have already known, Mok is leading Ooi Chern Ee 2-0 in their quarterfinal match of the 2009 Malaysian Masters Championship. Mok won game 1 and 2 which was held at DATCC today and he need another half points from two games tommorow to proced to the semifinal.
Thanks to Shirajudin, Andrew and IM Jimmy Liew who post the latest move with commentarary and photos in their blogs. I noticed from the photos that Mok looks like he is wearing the red Neo Manhattan Chess Centre t-shirt so i asked Shiraj t0 email the photo to me . As you can see above, Mok did actually wear the shirt! Could it be the shirt bring some good luck to Mok ? Maybe i'm overboard but i remember an article i post about Gata Kamsky victory in 2007 World Cup in Khanty Mansiysk. He wore the same shirt for the whole matches/games in the championship against seven different opponents and won the World Cup! Will Mok wear the same shirt tommorow !?
