1. e4 c6 2. c4 d5 3. cxd5 cxd5 4. exd5 Nf6 5.
Qa4+ Nbd7 6. Bc4 g6 7. Nc3 Bg7 8. d3 a6 9. Nf3 O-O 10. Qa3 Qc7 11. Be3 Ng4!?A tricky move. Theory give 11... Ne5 12. Nxe5 Qxe5 13. d4 Qb8 14. Be2 b5 15.Qb3 Bb7 12. Bg5 ?! Mas should just grab the pawn offer with 12. Qxe7 b5 13.d6 Bxc3+ 14. bxc3 Qc6 15. Bb3 Qxc3+ 16. Ke2 12... b5 13. d6 Mas have to sac a pawn to gain a saving tempo. If 13. Bb3? Bxc3+ 14. bxc3 Qxc3+ 15. Ke2 Nc5 16. Rhd1 Bf5 With decisive attack. 13... exd6 14. Bd5 This move attack the rook on a8 and guard his knight on c3 simultaneously. 14...Rb8 15. Qb3 This move give black a tempo to attack. Rybka suggest 15. Ne4 instead 15... Nc5 16. Qc2 Re8+ 17. Kf1 Not a move which every player want to make but alternative is worse for e.g 17. Ne4? Nxf2 18. Kxf2 Nxe4+ 17... Ne6 18. Rc1 Qc5 19. h3 19...Ne5? Black miss the strong 19...b4! for e.g 20. Ne4 (20. hxg4? bxc3 21. Bxe6 Rxb2) 20... Qxd5 21. hxg4 Nxg5 22. Nfxg5 Bxg4 winning a pawn 20. Be3 Qc7 21. Qd1 Qe7 22.Ne1 1/2-1/2 Both player agree to draw. Probably because both had a not so encouraging start so far-Mas 1.5 points and Jeroen 0.5 point from 5 rounds.
