MCF GM tournament start today at the Hotel Cititel Express, Kuala Lumpur. The results is :-
Round 1 : 1st table : FM Myo Zaw Min ( 2486) vs GM Ziaur Rahman (2560) 0-1
2nd table : GM Saidali Yuldachev (2520) vs WIM Zhang Xiaowen (2382) 1-0
3rd table : GM Drazen Sermek (2509) vs IM Mashafizulhelmi (2386) 1-0 ( correction - the results is draw 1/2-1/2..sorry for the mistake. )
When i arrive at the tournament hall at about 6.30 pm, the 1st and 2nd table game has finished. Only table 2 game is still going on and it last until 9 pm with both players are down with less then 5 minutes.

This was the last game to finish ( 9pm!) .When i arrive at the tournament hall they are the only players still playing and below are the position.
The material difference is white has two piece ( two bishops) against black rook, however black passed pawns on g and h file look dangerous. A highly complicated imbalances position!.
