his round 2 game of the Sukan MASUM 2 held today. As my previous report, the chess events is being play from 23-26 May 2006 at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

Today I played a classic Ruy Lopez Chigorin (transposed from anti-Marshall).

Rg5 Nd8 At first I was so frustrated becauseI saw that the knight will be just in time arriving on f7 therefore negating my attack which made me regret putting the Rook on g5 instead of g4. But aftera long thinking, I saw a nice trick which wins the exchange or a whole piece 33. d4 !! Nf7
