This is my 3rd round game with Kamaluddin Yusof in Royal Selangor 2006. In a very tough game , i managed to obtain a slight advantage in the opening but spoiled it in the middlegame just to give Kamaluddin a very dangerous iniatiative. Kamaluddin somehow failed to deliver the final blow and gave me the advantage that is enough to win the game but being nervous in the last minutes , i made a mistake that cause me half of the points.
Kamaluddin has just played 44... exd5 (44... Rxd5 45. Rxd5 exd5 +=) 45. Bd3 ??
{gives the opponent counterplay. After the game i feel regret to play this move
instantly. Actually i've only about 1 minutes left but i forgot that there is 30
second increment. Now black can have a draw with perpectual.} (45. Bb5 +-
{and the scales tip in favour of White}) 45... Re8+ 46. Kd1 Rh1+ 47. Kd2
(47. Kc2 ?? {will lost to Rc8+ and black will take the rook on c1.}) 47... Rh2+ now u will see the reason of 45. Bb5-it prevent black to play Re8+ and gave my king more space to breath (d3 square).
48. Kd1 Rh1+ 49. Kd2 1/2-1/2
