Sharing Session With IM Mashafizul and IM Mok Tze Meng

I was appointed as the facilitator for the Sharing Session With IM Mashafizul and IM Mok Tze Meng , held on the 2nd February 2013 during The 2013 National Age Group Chess Championship at Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Tronoh, Perak.The session was jointly organized by Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF) and UTP.

IM Mashafizul sharing his experince...

The session   was originally scheduled for one hour but because of popular request, it was continue for another one hour . Both IMs talk about their chess career, their opinion about Malaysian chess and also answer questions from the parent and chess players. In the end of the session, both players show their best game. IM Mas show his victory over Former Vice World Champion - GM Victor Korchnoi at Turin Olympiad 2006 and IM Mok shows his recent victory over Super GM - Loek Van Wely at the Turkey Olympiad  2012.

I was also assign as the assistant arbiter for Under 8 (Boys and Girls) NAG 2013.
