PRIZE

Preliminaries Stage ( for every group, 4 groups x 2 prizes)

1^st – Qualifiied for final

        (Minimum Prize in Final is RM 1,000. (all team get prizes

2^nd – RM 300

FINAL (4 teams only, all get prizes)

            Champion        : RM 3,000

            2^ND                   : RM 1,400

            3^rd                    : RM 1,200

            4^th                    : RM 1,000

                                      RM 6,600

FEE    : RM200 per team

             RM 200 deposit (returnable)

             RM 400

           

RM 50 per additional reserve player

              (maximum 6 reserve)

-          Insofar can make changes (EXCEPT PRIZES) if necessary

-          Prizes will not change even if 2 teams taking part

TEAM

1.      4 player per team

2.      Additional 6 player are allowed for reserve

3.      Team line-up must be given 30 minutes before each round (8.30pm)

4.      Line – up can change every round. Line – up need not be according to strength

5.      In any stage, for first 3rounds, only 2 players (for each team) can be above FIDE Rating 1800 or National Rating 1600

For last 3rounds, players can be of any strength.

6.      Each round 25 minutes per player.

Clock start 9.00 pm sharp

Preliminaries    – Double Round Robin (6weeks)

Final                - Double Round Robin (6weeks)

7.      Any player absent, the organizer will deduct RM 10 for each round of absence

8.      Balance of deposit will be returned during last round.

The team tournament is in 2 stages

Stage 1- Preliminaries

Stage 2- Final

Preliminaries (4-16 teams)

-          Four groups (A,B,C,D)

-          Each group 4 teams (Double Round Robin = 6 rounds)

-          Each team 4 players (+ maximum 6 reserve)

-          4 teams can play at Shah Alam (PKNS Complex) GROUP A

-          8 teams can play at Kuala Lumpur (DATCC) GROUP B & C

-          4 teams can play at B.B. Bangi (AMPAC) GROUP D

Each Group Prizes

-          1 ^st – Qualified For Final (in final all teams get prizes, minimum RM 1000)

-          2^nd- RM 300

FINAL (4 Qualified Teams Only)

-          Arbiter : International Arbiter En. Abdul Hamid Majid

-          All teams get prizes minimum  RM 1000

-          Place :  DATCC, Wilayah Complex, K.L

-          For First 3 Rounds Only Players (For Each Team)  Can Be Above FIDE 1800 or  national rating 1600. For last 3 rounds, players can be at any strength.

-          Players from unqualified team (during preliminaries stage),c an play in FINAL, but need to re-register (RM50), in other qualified team.
