WFM Nur Najiha Azman Hisham received her award from Deputy Minister Education of Malaysia - Y.B Datuk Ir.Dr. Wee Ka Siong
Women FIDE Master (WFM) Nur Najiha Azman Hisham was awarded with the Anugerah Tunas Harapan at the 2009 Anugerah Sukan Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia, MSSM-MILO. The Sports awards ceremony was organised last Thursday (14th October 2010) by Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Malaysia (MSSM) at Seri Endon, Puspanitapuri, Putrajaya. Deputy Minister Education of Malaysia - Y.B Datuk Ir.Dr. Wee Ka Siong officiate the event.

This award ceremony is an annual event organized to honor the achievement of students who involved in sports and also to recognizes the contribution of teachers in the national sports development.
Najiha win the Anugerah Tunas Harapan 2009 based on her following achievements:-
(i) 2 golds in the ASEAN Age Group 2009 Hue, Vietnam
(ii) Champion of the 2009 National Junior Chess Championship
(iii) Champion of the 2009 National Age group Chess Championship 2009
(iv) Awarded with the WOMEN FIDE MASTER (WFM) title by (FIDE)
This win shows that recognition was given to the development of chess in our country.
