After 9 years from his first IM norm at the Wah Seong IM Tournament in Penang, Mok Tze Meng (photo right) has officially be crowned as our 5th International Master (IM) by world chess governing body - FIDE.Personally i believed Mok can get this title earlier if he play in more international tournaments ( with norm possibilities) . Anyway, this must be a good motivation for the Mo(k)dern Guru to start the new year. I hope Mok will not stop here and aim for the Grandmaster title !
