Round 1 of the 2nd Dragon Capital Vietnam Chess open saw a mix results for the Malaysian representative. Malaysian no. 1 - IM Mashafizul win against local player - Vo Dai Hoai Duc (2175) , however our newly IM - Lim Yee Weng unexpectedly lost to another local player - Dang Hoang Son (2040).
In round 2, which will be held today at 3.30pm local time, IM Mashafizul meet local player Nguyen Minh Tuan (2082) and IM Lim Yee Weng meet WIM Bui Kim Le (2170).
