After Mas-Tariq first day match ended, the always generous Mr. Sirajuddin host a dinner for me, Mashafizul, MCF officials - Mr. Ibrahim and Mr. Abdul Hamid Majid, and chess players ( Abdullah Che Hassan, Norilhamuddin, Irwan Zulkenain) at Karim Mustapha Restaurant. ( In front Kompleks Wilayah). We had an enjoyable dinner. Mas told us about his GM quest, his recent Vietnam Zonal trip and his next tournament schedule. Mr.Sirajuddin on the other hand share with us a few of his "database" collection of funny stories.

I also had a chat with Tariq. He is a form five student of Bukit Bintang Boy School, Petaling Jaya and will seat for SPM examination this November. I think that's why he is not playing much nowadays. Everyone knows that SPM is an important exam because it provides opportunity for student to continue their studies to pre-university level. I wish him all the best.
