Though the ‘IN’ team comprising of fairIN , saprIN,kamaruddIN and ariffIN can occasionally be OUTplayed. OUTsmarted, OUTdone and OUTmanoeuvred by weaker players ,still 786’s grip on 3rd place is definite. Even the The Tarik Mamak is no more the IN thing.

DATCC vs SMS Gold
Though DATCC might feel inclined to brag about their win against TAN and TAN, the sad reality is that the win is hollow one due to TAN and TAN’s 3 top players being absent. Against SMS Gold they can just hope to put up a decent image (may be just like the centre after new flooring). Meanwhile SMS Gold should find a remedy for their 3rd board malaise if they want to end as champions

PC Wanita vs Price Waterhouse Coopers
Wanita has recently been putting a lot of resistance against stronger teams ( as a result lost Charitable Team award to MBS) and Haslinda’s draw with Kamal is indication of their robust performance. The absence of 3N’s (Najiha, Nabila and Nur syazwani) will be missed by the team but captain Roslina , Haslinda and Tan Li Ting nevertheless will be no push overs . Against Price Waterhouse , who is now the underdog for 4th placing , it may be a battle to the death.( Roslina’s charm should help wanita to certain extend)

Tan and Tan vs Nusa Mahkota Chess club
Nusa Mahkota now realizes that to win games they need discipline and their right players to focus on right frame of mind. They rightly allocate the blogging jobs to Hairul and Razali and put up one of their best performances against Pricewaterhouse to win 3-1
Though Ilham lost his 3rd consecutive game, he should bounce back against Tan and Tan. Seniors meanwhile want to put their performance against DATCC at the back of their mind and to put up a tough fight. They are probably hoping both IM’s will be available to avoid another mauling

Goldis vs Spawn 2009
Gold is was very unlucky not to have trashed SMS Gold but nothing will stop them from going full throttle against seemingly-in-form Spawn . with Yee Weng and Jimmy in nore mood for mercy and Abdullah and Udani in scintillating form , Spawn may end up for the first time with nothing to show despite having the magic of ‘Jason Bourne’Kaushal amongst their weaponry. Though they are still the favourite for the 4th place spawn has got to field their best line up to avoid a potentially humiliating loss
