According to the recent article in AFP, Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) is working with ASTRO to develop a new sports channel in Malaysia for neglected sports like chess. This should be a good news for Malaysian chess in term of publicity and coverage. If this thing materialised, we can expect an increase of sponsorship and goverment attention !?
