World Youth 2008, Vung Tau, Vietnam

Below is some of Malaysian players action during the 2008 World Youth, Vung Tau, Vietnam.
In round 4, Muhammad Shakir Shazmeer Azhar produced an upset by beating Pal Andreas Hansen -(FIDE 2074) the 39th seeded. Syakir is the 65 seeded.

"Pal Andreas Hansen (photo right) is 13 years old and won the Norwegian Championship for kids born 1994 and 1995 in 2007 with a score of 7/9. Pal also won the spring tournament in his local club, Verdal, in 2007, well in front of higher ranked players. He is considered the biggest talent in the Trondelag region of Norway.
