GM Eugene Torre (photo right) win the 2008 PRES. GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO CUP INTERNATIONAL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP (PGMA) after fininshing the event with 7 points from 9 rounds. He tied with GM Lichao from China and GM Zhang Zhong from Singapore but Torre has the better tie break.
