One guest in my shoutbox mentioned that IM Mashafizul(photo right) is playing at the 1st First Saturday Chess Tournament Series Budapest, Hungary from 7th till ? July 2008. Unfortunately for me, i didn’t receive any information about this earlier. So far he has played 11 games from 13 rounds. His scored is quite good – 6.5 points and in 7th place but i’m not sure whether he got a chance to collect his first GM norm with two more rounds to play. His next opponent would be GM Zoltan Varga and IM Peter Prohaszka both from the host country – Hungary. All the best Mas.For further details , refer the official site
