I read an interesting article in chessvile.com by English GM- Nigel Davies (right) that he recommend any serious chess players to use earplug to concentrate better during games. He said that at present only he and French GM Anatoly Vaiser use it.
In the past, Former World Champion and the hardest player to beat in the history of chess – Tigran Petrosian (photo above left) from Soviet Union (Russia) who is deaf, simply turned off his hearing aid if the noise level rose too high in chess matches or tournaments and it gave good result for him!
So far, i never seen any Malaysian chessplayer using it. Maybe i should try it !? :)
