The 8th Bangkok Chess Club Open 2008

The 8th Bangkok Chess Club Open 2008 was held from 1^th-6^th April 2008 at the Century Park Hotel Bangkok

Apart from the Open Tournament with a first prize of US $1,500, there is a Challenger Tournament for players with a FIDE rating below 2100 and unrated players.

Among the top seeded players compete in this tournament is GM Akobian Varuzhan ( 2601) from USA, GM Li Shilong (2512) from China and
